New York Bridal Fashion Week- April 2018

I’ve been wanting to blog about this experience for so long and I finally got the little push that I needed. While working on my 2018 year in review post, I got to last April and realized I hadn’t blogged this, and I HAD to have something to link it back to, because it was definitely a highlight of my year!

In April, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to New York for Spring Bridal Fashion Week and photograph it all for Bridal Beauty Magazine. It was an absolutely magical and (intense) five days packed with fashion shows, presentations, and one on one appointments with designers. Fashion was my first love in photography and then weddings were my second, so bridal fashion is right in the little niche that I love to photograph.

It was surreal meeting so many designers, attending and photographing incredible fashion shows, and casually sipping on champagne in incredible places in New York that I never dreamed of having the chance to visit, much less photograph.

There is no way that I could post everything from fashion week, but I did try to narrow it down to some favorites. I had to miss it this fall due to a back injury but I’m so excited to return with Bridal Beauty this April!
